Watermelon from May to September
Due to the characteristics, diversity and special microclimate of each region, the watermelon harvest begins in May and ends in September of the same year.
The headquarters of our company is located at the southern end of the prefecture of Ilia in the coastal town of ZACHARO. Its facilities are Privately Owned.
Watermelon cultivation takes place in the entire area of Trifylia province of Messinia prefecture (Filiatra – Kyparissia) and in the entire prefecture of Ilia (Zacharo – Pyrgos – Amaliada – Bartholomio – Varda).
Due to the location of the business in the center of this entire watermelon growing area the business makes the most of this advantage.
Fresh from the Field
The process of packing on pallets and loading in refrigerated trucks takes place at the place of cultivation, in the “field”, as can be seen in the video. So in less than 2-3 hours our products have been loaded into refrigerated trucks in order to reach their destination while maintaining their freshness and quality characteristics that have made us stand out in the market.
In this way we achieve to the maximum extent the goal of the quality and preservation of the freshness of the watermelons, implementing the slogan of our company “FRESH from the FIELD“.
